Whenever you visit Perth in Western Australia, there will always be a cultural event or festival for your enjoyment. With the Perth weather usually mild and sunny, check your map for directions and head to the many Perth events on offer.

Perth arts are highlighted in the Perth International Arts Festival where the public are entertained with three weeks of art and culture. The City of Perth Winter Art Festival carries this on during the winter months, with plays at the Black Swan Theatre Company, His Majesty's Theatre and the Playhouse Theatre.

Go to the Perth Opera, visit the Perth Art Gallery or attend a concert at one of the Swan Valley Wineries.

After a day sightseeing or swimming at a local Perth beach, go to the Perth Moonlight Cinema and be entertained by some great movies: you can even go Gold Grass!

Interested in fashion? Then check out the Perth Spring fashion trends at the Perth Fashion Festival in September. A visit in late September would not be complete without attending the Perth Royal Show. Held at the Claremont Showgrounds you can view the many agricultural displays and grab some show bags for the kids.

Bring a picnic, or grab some tasty food at the Lotterywest Festival film nights. The summer months brings the local Perth people out at night to view some wonderful international films. For some more outstanding outdoor entertainment, the West Australia Ballet offers some exciting nights at Ballet at the Quarry. For some progressive and often inspiring films, Revelation Perth International Film Festival is for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
